Karl Gunnar Myrdal (1898-1987) was a Swedish Nobel Laureate economist, sociologist, and politician. He studied race relations in his book An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy. The study was influential in the 1954 landmark U.S. Supreme Court Decision Brown v. Board of Education.Some quotes from the book:1) "Education means an assimilation of white American culture.
